How To Become A Salesforce Analyst Making $70,000 Your First Year

A Salesforce Analyst is someone who is trained to improve business processes and support efficient use of Salesforce. I know this sounds super vague (and it did to me at first) but I’ll explain further.

Your job is to help a business increase revenue growth and client retention by employing the use of Salesforce, which is a CRM.

CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management which is a collection of technologies that helps companies figure out how to better serve their customers by using automation to communicate, promote, and support the business in the best way possible. 

If you’re still lost and have no idea what I’m talking about, I’ll give a quick example.

Say a coffee shop wants to start a points system to reward customers. A Salesforce professional can build something like this. Not only that, you can also set up an option for customers to share their favorite item or product at the coffee shop. This helps the coffee shop better understand where they should put their focus.

How much can a Salesforce Analyst earn?

Year 1: A brand new person trained in Salesforce can earn between $60,000-$80,000.

Year 2: Earn $80,000-$90,000 a year.

Year 3: Earn around $100,000 a year.

Year 5 and going forward: $130,000+ a year.
