I love side hustles because they open you to new career paths and skills.

Here are the four side hustles that make me $10,000 a month.

I’m also sharing extra side hustles you can get started with today that are fully remote and allow you to be your own boss.

Best ways to make extra money now

  • Sell printables – Selling printables is the #1 side hustle to make money. This can be done on your own schedule and turn into passive income! You can earn over $10,000 a year selling printables.
  • Sell dog treats – Make $1,000+ selling dog treats from the comfort of your home. One of the most successful side hustles right now!
  • Proofreading – Earn $20+ an hour proofreading from home. Be your own boss and set your own schedule.
  • Surveys – Make money filling out surveys. You can take as many surveys as you want and earn up to $5 per survey.

1. Blogging

I started this blog back when I was only 19 years old. It was initially a fun hobby in my free time that eventually blossomed into my full-time job.

If you’re wondering how I make money on this blog, it comes from affiliate marketing, sponsored posts, ad revenue, and selling my own products. It’s a lot of fun, but running a blog is also a full-time business with a lot of work.

I even made $80,000 my senior year of college (that’s me in my first major feature by Forbes).

I work from home, spend time with my family and dogs, and I get to take my family on nice trips and donate to my favorite charities.

I’m even working on building a second blog to bring in extra income. I’m so excited to have 2 blogs that make a lot of money.

If you need extra help starting your blog, I have a free How To Start A Successful Blog 5-Day Course that shows you step-by-step what to do. This thorough but simple course is filled with a ton of value giving you everything you need to get started.

2. Freelancing

Are you a writer who has trouble finding paid work or a stay at home mom who wants to turn her writing skills into a career?

Freelance writing is a great option for fully remote work that can either be part-time work or a full-time gig.

My friend Ariel is a full-time freelancer and even teaches others how to work from home making up to $5,000 a month.

Learn how to make money from home as a freelance writer with the course Big Money Writer.

This is a 40 day program that teaches you a step-by-step process on exactly what you need to know to be successful at this.

This works even if you have no college degree, no writing experience or have never even earned online income before.

3. Virtual Assistant

Aside from this blog, I’m a virtual assistant, and it’s been a life-changing experience – here’s why.

I’m a virtual assistant for a 7 figure blog, which allows me to see how a successful, profitable business works. Not only that, I get paid well for assisting a small business owner.

With businesses going online, this career space is growing rapidly.

If you want to learn how to become a virtual assistant, take the free workshop called “5 Steps To Become A Virtual Assistant”.

This free workshop includes:

4. Apps

There are tons of ways to make money from apps, and my favorites are below.

1) Ebates is a website that pays cash back for purchases made online through hundreds of websites like Walmart, Best Buy, Kohls, Ulta, and hundreds more. Create an Ebates account here.

Make an online purchase of $25 and get $10 as a welcome bonus! So easy.

Ebates even has a free browser extension that automatically applies the best coupons to your purchases and activates cash back.

There are so many times I forget to use Ebates when I’m online shopping – so the Ebates button reminds me every time I go online shopping. It’s a must.

2) Ibotta is an app that pays cash back for groceries, clothes, toiletries, and a lot more.

Get $10 in your account by signing up here. If you’re downloading Ibotta on your phone, the app will ask if you have a referral code. Use my referral code: lwyxxrb and you’ll get $10 for signing up.

One time I got $12 cash back for a purchase I made through Groupon.

Currently, there are deals like $1-$ two off pasta, toothpaste, yogurt, milk, soda, and a lot more.

You can even make $5,000-$8,000 from your home kitchen if you do it full-time.

You can get your kids involved, work from home, create your own schedule, and make treats for dogs.

I don’t think it gets better than that.

My friend Kristin runs a successful dog treat business from home and perfected the craft of selling dog treats.

She even teaches others how to replicate her success in her course Diva Dog Bakery.

Surveys

Filling out surveys to make money is an easy way to make money by simply providing your opinion to questions.

I genuinely enjoy surveys because I love sharing my opinion on things.

I’ve always been into taking quizzes and surveys, so naturally, I love this method of making some extra cash.

Here are a few of my favorite surveys:

Professional Proofreader

Transform your passion for words and reading by becoming a professional proofreader.

I hire a proofreader for special projects which has been a must in my business.

Proofreaders are a must for books, magazines, websites, and tons of other projects, so they’re always in demand.

Proofreaders can earn between $17-$30 per hour and offers competitive pay and flexible hours while working from home.

Here is a free workshop that will show you if proofreading is right for you.

This is a great side hustle that can definitely turn into a full-time job. You work entirely remote and typically set your own schedule.

Sell digital stickers on Etsy

Another great side hustle related to Etsy is selling digital planners and digital stickers. My friend Michelle sells digital planners and stickers on Etsy.

Michelle personally uses digital planners and digital stickers, so she decided to sell them herself.

She made over $700 her first month in profit. In her second month, she made over $1,000 in profit.

She even created an affordable course teaching others how to do the same, which you can see here.

She even says you don’t need to have any prior skills, you do not need a background in drawing, no special software required, and anyone can do this.

This is a great side hustle for people looking to make some extra money every month.

I love side hustles like this because you put in a few hours of work, upload your digital products to Etsy, and then earn extra money for months to come.

My friend Leila changed careers and recently got a job as a Salesforce Professional.

You can learn all about her experience here.

She found her first job through a recruiter reaching out to her on LinkedIn, and now she’s earning $60,000+ at home with amazing benefits.

People are leaving their day jobs and moving into the tech world as Salesforce Professionals.

A Salesforce Professional is someone who is trained to improve business processes with something called Salesforce.

You don’t need any previous experience or college degree for this and almost all of these jobs are remote so you can work from home.

The average starting salary of a Salesforce Professional is between $60,000-$80,000 and some people even land first jobs making over $100,000.
