Making or saving extra money can have so many positives. It may help you to afford travel, pay off debt, stop living paycheck-to-paycheck, and more.
This can help cut or lower the amount of stress you are currently handling, plus you may learn better money habits as well!
Below are several examples.
Find a part-time job.
There are many part-time jobs that you may be able to find. This can be great if you have extra time in your life, which nearly everyone does.
The average person watches over 30 hours of TV each week, so that could be enough time right there to work a part-time job! You could work at a restaurant, at a retail store, or be someone's assistant.
You can even find a temporary seasonal job.
These are great opportunities for short-term work and are becoming so commonplace that Forbes even made Holiday Season hirings a special feature last November.
It's worth a read if you're looking to get a heads up on where to apply.
If you prefer, you could look for an online job and work in the comfort of your own home. If you happen to have the necessary skills, why not try working as an SEO analyst?

Start a side business.
There are many businesses and online business ideas that you may be able to start.
You could start a dog grooming or dog walking business, mow lawns, tutor, make baked goods, find and sell products, and more.
Do you have a big Instagram following? According to Cosmo, an Instagram post can earn you up to $25,000.
The list is endless! I recommend finding something that you enjoy, as that will make the hours pass by quicker and make it more enjoyable.
Bet against yourself.
While it's important to find ways to cut spending, it's also nice to find new ways to save extra money for yourself. Have you ever heard of a vice jar?
You can bet against yourself and save extra money by creating jars that you fill with money every time you indulge in a vice. You fill it each time you do something that you are trying to stop, such as stop smoking, be healthier, and more.
So, for example, each time you smoke, you would put money into the “smoking jar.”
This will make you think twice before you do it!
Cut your budget.
If you don't have enough time to make extra money, then you may want to look for ways to cut your budget back.
You may be able to cut back on things such as food spending, monthly subscriptions, cable, clothing, entertainment, and more.
Trust me, there is something that you can probably cut out of your monthly spending, even if you think it is nearly impossible.
I recommend tracking your spending for the next month or two if you do not believe me, as something will probably pop out and surprise you.
