An eBay for rentals?

The concept of earning extra cash from online marketplaces is nothing new.

Since 1995, eBay has helped people make money from their unwanted possessions.

However, in 2018, a new type of marketplace is now expanding rapidly across the US, which lets you unlock even more cash by renting the things lying around your house.

Fat Lama is a rental and lending website that pays lenders to rent out their items. Renters can save hundreds or thousands of dollars by renting out items that they only need once or twice a year.

If you’re ready to list your item or start renting from others, click here and get $25 toward your first rental.

On Fat Lama, you can rent or lend items like:

  • Cameras
  • Computers
  • Recording Equipment
  • Photography Studios
  • Virtual Reality
  • Drones
  • Bikes
  • Vintage Cars

Lenders can earn up to $10k per month

Fat Llama is a rental marketplace which lets you rent out your unused possessions, fully insured, to other people nearby.

You really can rent almost anything, too – from high-end DJ decks to rowing boats.

Unlike the one-off income generated on eBay, a rental marketplace means lenders can make a steady income by renting out the same items again and again.

Some users are earning up to $10,000 per month.

If you’re ready to list your item or start renting from others, check out Fat Lama.

You even get $25 for signing up through my link here!

Lenders also have insurance built it through Fat Lama, so you have nothing to worry about when you lend out your stuff. Every item is covered under insurance up to $30,000, and they also have 24/7 customer service to help you out with anything you need.

This is a great post Alexis! It’s crazy to think about how much stuff we have that can be making us money. I have a lot of tech equipment that I rarely use so I started to rent them out and I made a couple of bucks here and there. It’s not much but hey I’m not using it at the time anyway so why not? I like that you also mention you get insurance on your items because I believe most people worry about lost or damaged items, so this just gives you a peace of mind! This is definitely a good way to get some extra cash!

Yeah, if I had extra stuff laying around I would definitely think about renting it out!

  2. I know people who rent out baby equipment and earn money! It is crazy to know how many people want to rent out these types of equipment.

In India, there are many options to rent out clothes as well. If you have a designer piece or anything which is better than average, you can rent it out. Many people rent out their wedding dresses.

    Very informational post, Alexis
