  1. You have some awesome job ideas in this post! I already work from home as a freelance writer, but this has given me a lot to think about. I just opened the post about becoming a transcriptionist in a new tab! Thanks girl! 🙂

    1. That’s awesome!

  2. Thanks girl!

    1. You’re welcome!

  3. Good list! I have a background in accounting and I know plenty of bookkeepers that work from home full time! I wanted to do this as well, but I’d rather grow my blog instead!! Thanks for the post!

    1. Awesome!

  4. I currently work 2nd shift as a machinist and one of the things I don’t like, is I get a rash from the coolant I have to touch. I’d love to find something better. How much does a voice over make? I almost did this in college. The leader of the group said I’d probably be good at it, but then the group was canceled, because there weren’t enough people interested. Thank you

    1. I’m not totally sure how much they make, but the article explains what a person should expect to make. I recommend clicking on that article where I talk about voice actors – it goes into detail there.

  5. Telecommuting positions are growing. I am a data analyst for a large health insurance company, and they allow us to telecommute 5 days a week… we only go to the nearest office to our manager once or twice a year for department meetings. (I am a FTE, not a contract worker…full benefits!). Definitely check out what type of jobs are technology based…those are most likely to be open to remote workers.

    1. Great idea!

    2. What is required to become a data analyst? I know I’ve analyzed A LOT of data in my day. I’m good on a computer, but am certainly not a tech genius (yet). I have implemented ERP systems, trained others in their use, and am a superquick study.

      Please advise,
      Jonathan M. Davis
