By prepping your meals each week you will not only save time throughout the week making the meals, you’ll save calories as well! And you can most likely save money too.
When you prep your meals ahead of time, you are less likely to snack on foods and go out for a quick fast food meal. You will already have your meal in place, so there’s no excuse to snack since there is ‘no food’ around!Related links:

Prepping your meals is best to do on Sunday night, so you can have your meals ready for Monday through Friday. You can buy reusable containers at any store, and even the dollar stores have them.
An everyday night when I get home from work, I make sure I pack my lunch bag with all my meals for the day. There are plenty of unhealthy snacks at work, so I make sure to always bring my meals to work so I never go near the pantry area!
Remember, no excuses. Many people claim they don’t have time to pack healthy meals, but that is just an excuse to pick up fast food on the way. If you are wanting to change your lifestyle and commit to a healthy life, make time to prepare your meals. Make the meals tasty and fulfilling. Don’t throw a bunch of crap into a lunch bag and then get mad at the end of the day when you aren’t satisfied with what you made.
It’s also good to buy large reusable containers because you can store all your meat into these containers and add them to salads or other meals like that. I store cut up chicken breasts into my large containers. You can also make large salads already prepped.
This will be helpful during the middle of the day when you want to snack on bad foods and have cravings. You can add many different kinds of foods to your salad like strawberries, pineapples, oranges, apples, and any kind of veggie you like! Salads are easy, quick, and inexpensive.
Do you prep your meals? If so, do you make the same meals for every meal? For example, oatmeal with blueberries every morning and so on… Or do you like to switch it up for each day?
