I’ve made it a mission to start traveling more and to go experience places that I’ve never been. I’ve met a ton of people off Couchsurfing.com and I wish I knew about this site a long time ago!
I’ve been talking to quite a few people from all of the different destinations I want to go to. People are so welcoming and generous on this website. If you haven’t been on the site yet, I would strongly encourage you to check it out. Everything is organized and laid out so clearly.
Some people even display pictures of the area you’ll be sleeping in. You also basically have a tour guide for the short time you are there (depending on the couch surfing situation).

Number One: Denver, Colorado.
I’ve been dying to visit this city and state because of all of the great stories and experiences I’ve been hearing about. I love being adventurous and active so this makes Denver on the top of my list. The pictures I’ve seen are breathtaking and I know for a fact I’d have a great time.
Number Two: New Orleans.
I’d love to visit this city during Mardi Gras but I’d like to visit a different time as well because of how crazy it gets in the city. I’ve heard from people who the city gets really dirty during that holiday and people have actually seen throw up everywhere. Other than that, I’ve heard that the city is beautiful and filled with tons of great food, music, and people!
Number Three: Charleston, South Carolina.
A friend of mine visited this city and state and told me so many stories about their experience. They said it was one of their favorite trips that they’ve ever taken in the US. I love the history that comes along with it as well, and I’ve heard it’s quite beautiful.
Number Four: Atlanta, Georgia.
This city has one of the busiest airports in the country, and also the world? I could be wrong on that one. This city is a new hotspot destination of mine because of the great experience my friend had. I never particularly wanted to visit this place until my friend came back from a vacation there. They loved the city so much.
Number Five: Miami or anywhere in Florida.
I’ve been to Miami once but it was only to go to a connecting flight to the Virgin Islands. I think I’m the only person who has never been to Florida. I want to go deep-sea fishing so bad!
I’ve visited 10 states (20%)
