Welcome to Day 5: My Favorite Blogging Resources That Helped Me Become A Full-Time Blogger
If you are a brand new blogger (which I am going to go ahead and assume you are) there are a few things that make the whole blogging process easier.
Since you can’t go to college, get educated on everything that is blogging, and graduate with a blogging degree, there are other options.
Before we start, I wouldn’t look at these courses as options, but more of a necessary tool to get you ahead in blogging. You don’t have to take these courses, these are simply the courses I recommend.
Below are courses that I recommend for a beginner blogger.
1. The Blogging Blueprint
The Blogging Blueprint is the one course I wish I had when I started blogging. If you haven’t started a blog yet, or you’re a beginner or not making money from your blog, this is the course to take. The course lays out everything you need to know about blogging in great detail.
2. Pinterest Traffic Avalanche
The Pinterest Traffic Avalanche course helped me increase my reach to 2.3 million, which simultaneously increased my ad revenue income and my affiliate marketing income. Pinterest is something you must get started on now as a beginner blogger. If just one of your pins gets shared by a “popular” blogger, you could see a post go viral your first month of blogging. That is huge.
3. Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is quite simple. You incorporate links within your blog of products you recommend. For example, on this page, I have displayed affiliate links that will give me a portion of the money made from the purchase. This is at no cost to you.
Michelle (the creator of Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing) makes over $50,000 a month in affiliate income. She lays out her strategies, the legal side of affiliate marketing that so many bloggers miss, and more in over 30 lessons and bonuses, as well as private mastermind Facebook group to ask blogging questions.
4. How I Went From 17k to 350k+ Monthly Page Views In 9 Months
How I Went From 17k to 350k+ Monthly Page Views In 9 Months is one of the main reasons my page views are increasing at such a rapid rate. Even though Pinterest’s algorithm changed a few months ago, my blog has managed to overcome that obstacle and get more page views than it’s ever had. That is NO small feat, and I owe a lot of my success to the information and tricks I learned from Lena. She dove into topics that I would’ve never even thought about. I’m currently on my 3rd read-through, as she’s updated it again!
There you have it! Those are the courses I genuinely recommend to bloggers.
Did you start a blog? If not, here is a step-by-step tutorial that will get you started on creating your blog. Remember, being self-hosted is important if you want to monetize your blog versus creating a free blog off Blogger. I tell you why this is important in the beginning of my tutorial.
