Welcome to Day 1: How Creating A Blog Can Change Your Life
The world is moving online, which means now is the time to become a blogger and build your online presence.
Why do you want to start a blog? Is it to earn a full-time income at home? Spend more time with your kids? Do you want to help others learn how to take control of their finances? Share healthy recipes?
Everyone starts a blog for their own unique reason and every reason is just as valid as the other.
Below are 4 reasons how starting a blog can change your life, and what you'll soon begin to notice in your blogging career.
1. Get more than one raise a year
Blogging rewards your hard work with raises more than once a year. My income has increased every single month since I've been full-time blogging. My blogging friends have similar experiences, too.
I never expected to be making $5,000 a month while working from home. Not only that, I go on monthly trips all around the world, and rarely ever pay for my trips abroad.
2. Build a loyal community
Imagine building a community of people who check your blog weekly (or daily!) to hear from you. Not only that, people go to you for advice, and to seek inspiration and motivation.
3. Travel the world and set your own schedule
Is your best friend getting married abroad? Did someone in your family get sick and you need to visit them immediately?
Blogging allows you to set up your own schedule. You get to be as flexible as possible AND you get to work anywhere in the world. You don't have to ask your boss if you can take x amount of days off to visit your sick family member (and they might even say no!).
4. Opportunities that come from blogging
Bloggers get several opportunities from blogging and working online. When your blogging career becomes more serious, you'll notice opportunities coming your way left and right. I'm still baffled when I get offered trips or free hotel stays.
For example, I've been offered:
- Paid trips
- Paid accommodations
- Free fitness gear and programs
- Free products (eyeglasses, nutrition tools, and programs, etc.)
- And so much more that I can't even remember
Tomorrow's lesson will teach you how to create your very own blog.
The process of starting a blog requires you to do several things, which I've compiled all into one post on my blog. Get ready to get creative and brainstorm ideas on your blog name.
See you tomorrow!
