Working out in the morning can be such a pain for those who aren’t morning people. I for one, am not a morning person, especially on winter/summer break. I have been on winter break for the past month and I have never felt so lazy!
But I totally deserve this break from everything because the past 4 months have been extremely hectic. I moved to a different state, had to lug all of my things from over 300 miles away, got out of a long-term relationship, started school full-time and participating in 3 part-time jobs. I also work on my blog part-time and life can get pretty stressful at times.
On top of that, I have to remember to workout or else I feel like crap and every other aspect of my life becomes damaged.
Working out is my life now, and there seems to NEVER be time to workout. So what do I do? Well, I workout in the morning before I do absolutely anything.

Here are 5 ways you can get your workout in the morning. Remember, there is ALWAYS time in the day.
1. Wake up earlier.
Obviously, wake up an hour earlier than you usually would. Drink a cup of coffee or take a thermogenic to get you up and going. Do whatever you can to pump up some energy into you.
2. Play upbeat, high BPM music.
This music will get you feeling energetic and ready to break a sweat. There are tons of sites/web pages that can help you find music that is good for working out. Simply look up ‘workout music’ on Pandora or Spotify and a ton of music will come up!
3. Find quick workouts.
I added a quick workout I found above that you can do in the morning as well. It’s not necessary to get to the gym to get in a workout for the day. You can search on YouTube for workouts and even do yoga in the morning, or you can do quick body weight workouts.

4. Stay motivated and inspired.
Every night before I go to bed, I look up inspirational quotes and motivating pictures. It gets me pumped to get my workout in the next day, so I’m already prepared to do the workout the next morning.
5. Stop making excuses.
Everyone claims to not have time to workout, but you do. You can get a workout in by simply doing bodyweight exercises during a break at work, doing 30 squats every time you use the bathroom, and so on. Make time. Every 5 minutes here and there will add up quickly.
When worse comes to worse and you don’t have time to workout, you should simply find a physical hobby. It can be more fun and enjoyable instead of going to the gym for some people. I, however, enjoy going to the gym but there are times when I rather am somewhere else. That’s why I take up hobbies such as hiking, rock climbing, and kickboxing. These are my outlets for stress and it’s also a great workout as well.
