During my weight loss journey, I used a lot of these apps to help me stay motivated and on the right track. These apps helped keep track of my weight and measurements, made sure I was drinking enough water, and pretty much everything else I needed help with.

Track your food, water intake, sleep, and more with Fitbit’s app. My favorite part of the app is being in challenges with others to see who walked the most steps. It keeps me motivated to walk, especially since I work at home. I aim to get 10,000 steps a day.
2. Charity Miles
Run and give back to the world at the same time. For every mile you run, money is donated to a charity of your choice. Such an amazing way to give back, stay motivated to run and feel good about your workout.
Loseit! helps track your calories, exercise, and weight with an easy to use app that is also organized. I love the coloring and layout of this app more than MyFitnessPal.

Get a workout that is customized to fit your needs. It’s basically like having a personal trainer for really cheap at home. Also, connect your Spotify to the app! I recommend buying the premium version of this app, it’s definitely worth it!
Find out what grade your food gets. This app is awesome because you find out if your food is healthy or not. Scan the barcodes on your food and get all of the information you need about the food. Bonus: The app tracks mood, sleep, and hunger levels.
6. Nike+ Run Club
I’ve used this app all around the world on my travels to get me running more. The app lets you see where you rank among your friends, and who has run the most. It’s kind of like being in a challenge with others, which is really motivating. It keeps track of miles you’ve run monthly and lets you put in little notes of how your run was. It also has a GPS to track where you went.
7. Daily Yoga
50+ classes shot in HD video giving you the best yoga experience right at home or at your local park. You can also learn how to do 500+ poses in the apps library.
Enter a challenge and bet money that you’ll lose 4% of your body weight. If you get to your goal, you get to split the winnings among the other winners and if you lose, you don’t get any money. It’s really motivating!

I bought this app 4 or 5 years ago. Basically, this app is perfect if you want to run more, and are obsessed with The Walking Dead. The app basically takes you through a story and will make you run faster at times if a zombie is getting close by. You have a mission throughout running, such as collecting items for camp and keeping others safe.
Related tip: Get a workout armband so you don’t have to keep your phone in your hand while you run. It’s really convenient.
If you have trouble finding music that plays consistent upbeat music, this is the app for you. This music streaming app will play music that is perfect for any time of workout you do. No more pausing to find a good energetic song!
This app will create a health plan for you to live happier and better. This app is perfect if you want to create small, healthy changes in your life.
15. Fitness Blender
I love using Fitness Blender on YouTube or you can use the app. Get free workouts so you can exercise anywhere you go. Their high-intensity workouts are insane!
Using apps to achieve your fitness goals or simply get some exercise in every day is a great way to stay motivated and on top of your goals. You never have an excuse to not complete a workout, since your workout is on your phone, which is usually on you at all times.
